Ke Akua me ke Aloha (God bless you),
Mike Gabbard
Founder/President

Following an inspiring and hugely popular series of workshops by parenting expert John Rosemond in Hawai'i in 2007, Senator Mike Gabbard and his wife Carol formed the Aloha Parenting Project (APP).
APP is a grassroots non-profit organization that serves as a statewide clearinghouse for parents who are interested in learning about and improving parenting skills and techniques. Besides offering classes by John Rosemond when he is in Hawai'i, APP coordinates Parent Discussion Groups to encourage parents in applying and incorporating the advice and techniques Mr. John Rosemond gives us in his lectures and books. APP hopes to educate, support, and help parents raise children to become responsible, productive members of our community.
Through APP, Mike and Carol are taking what they've learned in over 40 years of marriage, child rearing, and helping others, to get the word out to parents across the state who are seeking to strengthen their ohana.
